Mills Slough Dog Park

Summary:   This small park is tucked away in a neighborhood off Michigan Avenue in Kissimmee.  The City of Kissimmee gets kudos for being the only municipality to put up signs directing you to their park!  The first sign is at the corner ofMichigan Ave. and Boulder Drive.  You’ll see a second sign at the corner of Boulder and Agate Street.  It’s confusing because at the end of Agate it just dead ends.  You park there and walk back a few hundred feet where you’ll see a Brown foot bridge to the dog park.  The park is in good condition and clean!  It has a very Small Dog area, Large Dog area, Dog Water Fountain, a turtle and duck agility obstacle, and giant sewer pipes to run through.  Humans have one Bench, under one Shade Tree, and that’s it.  It is a quiet area with some nice scenery around the park!

Park Rules:

• Users of this facility do so at their own risk
• All dogs must be legally licensed, have current vaccinations, and shall wear a visible tag
• Dog owners are solely responsible for actions of their dogs
• Dog feces must be cleaned up by their owners and put in receptacles
• All children/infants must be supervised
• Dog owners must be inside enclosure and within view of their dogs at all times
• Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting this park. Dog owners must have a leash in hand at all times
• City of Kissimmee ordinance 5-9 applies to all activities within this facility
