The store was full of birds and bird cages. It was noisy, a bit messy, but well maintained. You could see the focus was on the birds and their well being.
2. Did the salesperson acknowledge you within a reasonable amount of time? Yes/No (Ruffly said Yes)
I walked around the store for a few minutes while Ken was helping a couple that came into the store before I did. After he finished their transaction he paused, and then asked how he could help me.
3. Was the person knowledgeable about the products/services? 1 2 3 4 5 (Ruffly Rated it 5)
It was very clear to me that Ken knew what he was talking about and listened to my questions. I asked him if he could recommend a good "starter" parrot. I explained that I heard that paralets were good birds to choose as a "first parrot." Ken explained a bit about paralets and the care they would need.

The store was filled with many different types of birds. The prices were clearly marked on a board at the front of the store. Prices were also placed on the bird cages themselves. There was also a good selection of cages, toys, and food available.

As far as my knowledge of birds and bird supplies, I can say confidently that the prices on most of the goods in the store were reasonable.

The return policy is clearly stated in the store.

Ken is part owner of the store with his wife, and it is clear to see that he truly loves the birds in his store. He made a point of explaining that he hand raised many of them and cares about them very much.
Final Report
After careful review of KRC Exotic Birds, it is obvious that Ken is both knowledgeable and cares about the birds in his store. He assisted me quickly and answered all of my questions in a clear and concise way. It was a pleasure speaking to him and being in his shop. KRC Exotic Birds gets a Watch Dog Seal of Approval in the ratings of knowledgeability, accountability and customer service
